समवसरण में ग्यारह गणधर, चौदह हजार मुनि, छत्तीस हजार आर्यिका, एक लाख श्रावक, तीन लाख श्राविकायें थीं। महावीर का शुभ सन्देश जियो और जीने दो था।

In the samavasarana there were eleven Ganadharas, fourteen thousand monks, thirty-six thousand nuns, one lakh laymen and three lakh laywomen. Mahavir's auspicious message was: Live and let live.
