गर्भपात कराने वाली महिला, गर्भपात की सलाह देने वाली महिला, अनुमोदना करने वाले, अस्पताल जाकर कराने वाले पुरूष को भी छः महीने तक पूजा, आहारदान, वैयावृत्ति, जिनवाणी का स्पर्श, पढ़ना और धार्मिक अनुष्ठान नहीं करना चाहिए, क्योंकि असहाय मनुष्य की हत्या करने बाला महापापी है।

A woman who has an abortion, one who advises it, one who approves it, and a man who takes her to hospital for it — none should perform puja, give food-donation, do vaiyavritti, touch or read the Jinvani, or perform religious rites for six months, for one who kills a helpless being is a great sinner.
