प्रेम से बढ़कर दूसरा बन्धन नहीं, विषय से बढ़कर दूसरा विष नहीं, क्रोध से बढ़कर दूसरा शत्रु नहीं, विवेक से बढ़कर दूसरा मित्र नहीं, जन्म से बढ़कर दूसरा दुःख नहीं, सन्तोष से बढ़कर सुख नहीं, लोभ से बढ़कर पाप नहीं, सेवा से बढ़कर पुण्य नहीं और दया-अहिंसा से बढ़कर धर्म नहीं है।

There is no bondage greater than attachment, no poison greater than sensual desire, no enemy greater than anger, no friend greater than discernment, no sorrow greater than birth, no joy greater than contentment, no sin greater than greed, no merit greater than service, and no dharma greater than compassion and non-violence.
