पूजा दो प्रकार की- व्यवहार पूजा- शास्त्रों की पूजा, वेष्टन (अछार) लगाना, सफाई करना, जीर्णोंद्धार करना, आदि। निश्चय पूजा- श्रुत के अर्थ को आत्मसात करना, भाव श्रुत को हृदयंगम करना, मिथ्यात्व से मुक्ति आदि।

Worship is of two kinds. Vyavahara (conventional) worship — worship of the scriptures, wrapping and dressing them, cleaning, restoring the old, and so on. Nishchaya (true) worship — assimilating the meaning of the scripture, taking the inner scripture to heart, freedom from false belief, and the like.
