क्षेत्र- आज का बच्चा कहता है मन्दिर क्यों जाऊँ ? आत्मा या भगवान् का ध्यान घर में बैठकर भी कर सकते हैं, इसका उत्तर हमें उसी की भाषा में देना होगा कि जिस प्रकार एक घर में रसोई अलग, स्नानघर अलग, पखाना अलग, शयन कक्ष अलग-अलग होते हैं, उसी प्रकार परमात्मा का ध्यान करने के लिये मन्दिर हैं, यदि पखाना खाने के स्थान पर और खाना पखाने के स्थान पर हो तो आपको कोई आपत्ति तो नहीं ? यदि यह अयोग्य है, तो मन्दिर का कार्य मन्दिर मे होना चाहिये, घर का कार्य घर में होना चाहिये, मन्दिर की वेदी पर कोई भोजन की थाली रखकर नहीं खाता तथा आपरेशन थियेटर पर ही आपरेशन होता है रसोईघर या दुकान पर नहीं उत्तर सुनते ही बच्चे को समझ में आ जायेगा।

Region: today's child asks, why should I go to the temple? One can meditate on the soul or God sitting at home too. We must answer in his own language: just as in a house the kitchen, bathroom, toilet and bedroom are all separate, so the temple exists for meditating on God. If the toilet were where food is eaten and food where the toilet is, would you not object? If that is improper, then temple work should be done in the temple and home work at home; nobody eats from a plate placed on the temple altar, and an operation is done only in the operating theatre, not in a kitchen or shop. On hearing this the child will understand at once.
