Near the Ashoka tree stands the beautiful throne, three parasols shine above the head, the halo (bhamandala) behind; the divine voice flows from His mouth, gods rain flowers, sixty-four chowries are waved, and celestial drums resound — these are the eight pratiharyas (glorious attendants).
