मन्दिर और सन्तो के पास जाकर सिर झुकाते हैं क्योंकि सिर में गुस्से का, गर्दन में मान का, हृदय में माया का और पेट में लोभ का वास होता है, अर्थात् हम देव-शास्त्र-गुरु के सामने झुक कर अपनी कषायों का विसर्जन करते हैं।

We bow our head before the temple and the saints because anger dwells in the head, pride in the neck, deceit in the heart and greed in the belly; that is, by bowing before God, scripture and guru we dissolve our passions.
