भक्त और भगवान् में मात्र इतना अन्तर है कि भक्त खदान में उस हीरे के समान है जो अभी सान पर नहीं चढ़ा है, जबकि भगवान् उस हीरे की भाँति है जो सान पर चढ़कर विशुद्ध स्वरूप को प्राप्त कर चुका है।

The only difference between devotee and God is that the devotee is like a diamond in the mine, not yet cut, whereas God is like the diamond that, having been cut on the wheel, has attained its perfectly pure form.
