जहाँ गुरु निन्दा चल रही हो वहाँ कान ढक लेना चाहिए या अन्यत्र चले जाना चाहिए क्योंकि जो दूसरों के द्वारा की गई गुरु अथवा स्वामी की निन्दा को सुनता है तथा सुनकर कुपित नहीं होता वह पुरुष कृतघ्न कहलाता है।

Where the guru is being reviled, one should cover one's ears or go elsewhere, for whoever hears others slander his guru or master and does not grow angry is called ungrateful.
