जिसका साथी ईश्वर है उसको दुःख क्या, फिक्र क्या, दूसरे साथी की आवश्यकता क्या है ? मेघों से ढके हुए सूर्य वाला दिन 'दुर्दिन' नहीं है, उसी दिन को दुर्दिन कहो जिस दिन भगवान् की कथा का अमृतमय सुन्दर आलाप रस सुनायी नहीं पड़ता है।

One whose companion is God—what sorrow, what worry, what need for another companion has he? A day of the sun covered by clouds is not a 'bad day'; call that day a bad day on which the sweet, nectar-like melody of God's story is not heard.
