वह मार्ग जरूर मनोरम है, पर कण्टक कीरण दुर्गम है। गुजरे जितने जन इस मग से, परिहास हुआ सबका सम है। मत जा मन उस ओर अरे, वह स्वप्न मृगाम्बु तथा भ्रम है।।

That path is indeed alluring, but strewn with thorns and hard to tread. Of all who passed this way, all alike were mocked. O mind, go not that way - it is a dream, a mirage, an illusion.
