ब्रह्मचर्य के अभाव में अल्पायु में ही बाल सफेद हो जाते हैं, स्मरण शक्ति नष्ट हो जाती है, आँखें कमजोर हो जाती हैं, चेहरे का तेज नष्ट हो जाता है, कानों से सुनाई नहीं देता है, दाँत गिर जाते हैं, जिव्हा लड़खड़ाने लगती है, छोटी सी विपत्ति में, मेहनत में, चलने में ही थकान हो जाती है, शरीर में झुर्रियाँ पड़ जाती हैं एवं अल्पायु में ही मरण हो जाता है।

In the absence of celibacy the hair turns white at an early age, memory is lost, the eyes weaken, the face's glow fades, the ears cannot hear, the teeth fall, the tongue falters, one tires at the slightest trouble, labour or walking, the body wrinkles, and death comes early.
