घुड़सवार से अपेक्षा- एक बुढ़िया ने जङ्गल में एक घुड़सवार से अपनी पोटली गाँव तक ले जाने को कहा उसने मना कर दिया। बाद में घुड़सवार के मन में आया की इसकी पोटली ले लेता हूँ और भाग जाता हूँ, ठीक यही विचार बुढ़िया के भी मन में आया कि अगर इसको पोटली दे देती और ये लेकर भाग गया होता तो? बाद में घुड़सवार पोटली लेने आया तो, बुढ़िया ने कहा जो तेरे दिमाग में आया वही मेरे दिमाग में आया।

Expecting from a horseman—In a forest an old woman asked a horseman to carry her bundle to the village; he refused. Later it occurred to the horseman, 'Let me take her bundle and ride off.' The very same thought came to the old woman: 'If I had given him the bundle and he had made off with it, what then?' When the horseman came back for the bundle, the old woman said, 'Whatever came into your mind came into mine too.'
