गजकुमार मुनि-कौन जल रहा था ? गजकुमार मुनि के उपसर्ग की वार्ता सुनकर एक सज्जन बोल उठे, कैसी बिडम्बना है, गजकुमार मुनि का शिर जल रहा था और उनका ससुर हँस रहा था, देखो संसार की दशा, तब एक ने कहा भाई ! मुनिराज तो समता रुपी अमृत का पान कर रहे थे, अपूर्व आनन्दप्राप्त कर रहे थे, अरे ! कषाय की भट्टी में तो उनका ससुर जल रहा था, मुनि का शरीर जल रहा था आत्मा हँस रही थी, ससुर की आत्मा जल रही थी, शरीर हँस रहा था, देखो यह स्वभाव दृष्टि का बल है।
