भैंस और खेती को लेकर आलसी मित्रों में विवाद-दो मित्र आपस में बैठे-बैठे चर्चा छेड़ देते हैं, एक कहता है 'हम इस साल खेती करेंगे' दूसरा कहता है 'हम इस साल भैंसें खरीदेंगे', पहला कहता है आपकी भैंसे मेरे खेत में नहीं आना चाहिए, दूसरा कहता है पशु हैं आयेंगे तो हम क्या करेंगे, इसी बात को लेकर दोनों में झगड़ा हो जाता है, और आपस में एक दूसरे का सिर फोड़ देते हैं, अतः व्यर्थ की चर्चा नहीं छेड़ना चाहिए।

A quarrel between lazy friends over a buffalo and farming: two friends sitting idle start a discussion; one says 'this year we will farm', the other says 'this year we will buy buffaloes'. The first says your buffaloes must not enter my field; the second says they are animals, if they come what can we do. Over this the two quarrel and break each other's heads. Therefore one should not start pointless arguments.
