वर्णी जी के साथ शिखरजी यात्रा में सागर वालों का रसोइया था, वर्णी जी को भोजन रुचा नहीं, नाराज होकर बोले तुम्हरे हाथ का भोजन नहीं करेंगे, स्वयं भोजन बनाया तीन घण्टे लग गये, धुँआ से आखों में दर्द हो गया, रात में स्वप्न में बाईजी ने कहा! तुम गुस्से में यात्रा करोगे तो नरक जाना पड़ेगा, भावना पवित्र होना चाहिए।
