जाके किये लाज आवे, जग में अजस पावे, घनेन सो वैर होय, पापहु की बढ़ती। काय को कलेस होय, आपुस मे नेस (बिगाड) होय, नीचनि पे पेस होय, धर्म प्रीति हटती। कुल को अचार जाय, क्रिया को प्रचार जाय, हेय-उपादेय की समझ दूर पड़ती। देश, कुल, नृप, पुर, नीति के विरोधी, ऐसे कारज न करो, मीत तजो रीती अड़ती (विपरीत)।।

Deeds that bring shame, earn ill fame in the world, breed much enmity and increase sin; that afflict the body, cause discord among one's own, force servility before the base, and drive away love of dharma; that ruin the family's conduct, spread wrong practices, and destroy the sense of what is worth accepting or rejecting — deeds opposed to country, family, king, town and moral law: do not do such deeds, friend; abandon such perverse ways.
