योगत्रय का संस्कार-मन का संस्कार- सीता ने राम से कहा, कि लोगों के कहने से मुझे छोड़ा, पर धर्म नहीं छोड़ना। सीता रावण के यहाँ रही पर रावण का रूप और वैभव देखकर भी अडिग रही यह मन का संस्कार है। वचन का संस्कार जैसे- अंधे व्यक्ति से 'हे सूरदास जी! यहाँ से कोई निकला है'? मन सन्तुष्ट करने वाले वचन बोलना वचन का संस्कार है। काय का संस्कार- लोह मयी आभूषण पहनाने पर भी पाण्डव अडिग रहे, सुकौशल स्वामी को व्याघ्री ने खाया पर वे अडिग रहे।

'Refinement of the three yogas — refinement of the mind' — Sita told Rama, 'On people's word you abandoned me, but do not abandon dharma.' Sita stayed in Ravana's house yet remained unshaken though she saw his form and splendour — that is refinement of the mind. Refinement of speech — as when asking a blind man, 'O revered Surdas, has anyone passed by here?'; speaking words that comfort the heart is refinement of speech. Refinement of the body — the Pandavas remained unmoved even when made to wear red-hot iron ornaments, and the saint Sukaushala remained unshaken though a tigress devoured him.
