अपनी समस्याओं व कठिनाइयों का विज्ञापन मत करिये- मानव की प्रकृति के अनुसार कोई भी आपकी समस्याओं में दिलचस्पी नहीं रखता, हर एक व्यक्ति सिर्फ अपनी समस्याओं में रुचि रखता है। आपकी समस्याएं सुनकर सामने वाला ऊब जायेगा या अपने से अधिक परेशान समझकर क्षणिक सन्तोष का अनुभव करेगा। आपकी मानसिक कमजोरी या बचपना समझेगा। अपनी समस्याओं का हल किसी समझदार से लीजिए। लगातार शिकायत व नोंक-झोंक से बचिए। विना पूँछे ज्यादा स्पष्टीकरण और सफाई न दीजिए। लोग अपनी मानसिकतानुसार जो सोचते हैं, सोचने दीजिए।

Do not advertise your problems and difficulties - by human nature no one is interested in your problems; everyone is interested only in his own. Hearing your problems, the listener will get bored, or feel a passing satisfaction thinking you are more troubled than he, or take you for mentally weak or childish. Get the solution to your problems from someone wise. Avoid constant complaining and bickering. Do not offer explanations and justifications unasked. Let people think as their mentality dictates.
