जाणइ कज्जाकज्जं, सेयमसेयं च सव्वसमपासी। दयदाणरदो य मिदू, लक्खणमेयं तु तेउस्स।।

अपने करने योग्य अथवा नहीं करने योग्य, सेवन करने योग्य अथवा नहीं सेवन करने योग्य को समझने वाला हो, सबके विषय में समदर्शी हो, दया और दान में तत्पर हो, मन-वचन और काय के विषय में कोमल परिणामी हो ये सब पीत लेश्या वाले के चिन्ह हैं।

One who understands what should and should not be done, what should and should not be consumed, who is even-sighted towards all, ever ready in compassion and charity, and gentle in mind, speech and body — all these are the signs of one with the Peet (yellow) leshya.
