आचार्य कहते हैं तृष्णा को नष्ट कर, क्षमा को धारण कर, पाप में अनुराग मत कर, सत्य बोल, सत्पुरुषों के पीछे चल, विद्वानों की सेवा कर, माननीयों का आदर कर, शत्रुओं से भी प्रेम कर, पीड़ितों को प्रश्रय दे, कीर्ति बढ़ा और दुःखित पर दया कर ये ही सब कार्य सत् पुरुषों के होते हैं।

The Acharya says: destroy craving, hold to forgiveness, take no delight in sin, speak the truth, follow the noble, serve the learned, honour the respected, love even your enemies, give shelter to the afflicted, increase your good repute, and show compassion to the sorrowful — these are the acts of good men.
