पाप में लीन पुरुष खोटा पुरुष है, पाप से निवृत्त पुरुष पुण्यवान है, निज-पर के हित में संलग्न पुरुष सत्पुरुष है और परहित करना ही जिनका कार्य है, वे महापुरुष हैं।

One absorbed in sin is a wicked man; one who has turned away from sin is meritorious; one engaged in the welfare of self and others is a good man; and those whose sole work is the good of others are great men.
