द्रव्यपरावर्तन- लवणसमुद्र का विस्तार दो लाख योजन है, उसमें पूर्व दिशा से जुँआरी और पश्चिम से सेल डाला जाए, लहराते-लहराते जब सेल जुँआरी के छेद में घुस जाये, उतने काल को द्रव्य परावर्तन कहते हैं।

Substance-revolution: the Lavana ocean is two lakh yojanas wide; if a yoke is dropped from the east and a peg from the west, and by the tossing of the waves the peg at last enters the hole of the yoke—that span of time is called a substance-revolution.
