किसान जब बीज त्यागता है तब फल की प्राप्ति होती है, इसी प्रकार कुंआ पानी देता है तो और आता है, वृक्ष पुराने पत्ते त्यागता है तो नये पत्ते आ जाते हैं, गाय दूध त्यागती है तो स्वस्थता महसूस करती है एवं पुनः दूध आ जाता है। इसी प्रकार त्याग से आत्म वैभव प्राप्त होता है।

When a farmer gives up (sows) his seed, he gains fruit; a well that gives water gets more; a tree that sheds old leaves gets new ones; a cow that gives milk feels healthy and its milk is renewed. In the same way, the glory of the soul is attained through renunciation.
