अहङ्कार रुपी लङ्गर नही खोला- भूले भटके शराबी रात भर नाव खेते रहे किन्तु सुबह देखा तो वहीं थे, नाविक ने कहा नाव का लङ्गर नहीं खोला, अतः आगे नहीं बढ़े, इसी तरह मानव ने अहङ्कार रूपी लङ्गर नहीं खोला, इसलिए संसार में ही भटक रहा है।

The anchor of ego was never lifted—Some drunken, lost men rowed a boat all night, but at dawn they found themselves in the same spot; the boatman said the anchor had never been raised, so they had not moved forward. In the same way, man has never lifted the anchor of ego, and so he keeps wandering in worldly existence.
