लघुता से प्रभुता मिले, प्रभुता से प्रभु दूर, चींटीं ले शक्कर चले हाथी के शिर धूर। लघुता से प्रभूता मिले, प्रभूता से प्रभु दूर, जो प्रभु होना चाहते, लघुता धार जरूर।।

Through smallness one gains greatness, but greatness keeps the Lord far away; the ant carries off the sugar while dust falls on the elephant's head. Through humility comes eminence, but eminence keeps God distant; whoever wishes to become divine must surely take up humility.
