यह विवेक का नहीं विज्ञापन का युग है, चिन्तन का नहीं चाटुकारिता का युग है। चारित्रवान मनीषियों का नहीं चारित्रहीन चमचों का युग है। सत्य शोधकों का नहीं सत्ता लिप्सुओं का युग है। आचार का नहीं प्रचार का युग है। दूरदृष्टि का नहीं दूर दर्शन का युग है। शब्द साधना का नहीं शब्द जाल का युग है। प्रज्ञा पुरूषों का युग नहीं पण्डितों का युग है। परमेष्ठियों का युग नहीं पाखण्डियों का युग है।

This is the age not of discernment but of advertisement, not of reflection but of flattery.
