मनुष्य कृश, रोगाक्रान्त, बाधाओं से युक्त, इस काल में ईति-भीति, चोरों का भय रहेगा, पृथ्वी रूखी रहेगी, व्याधों द्वारा नारी हरण, सर्प, कीड़े, मृगादि का भय होगा।

People will be frail, disease-ridden, and beset by obstacles; in this era there will be calamity and fear, dread of thieves, a barren earth, abduction of women by hunters, and fear of snakes, insects, and wild beasts.
