जो मैला वस्त्र रखने वाला, दाँतों का मैल साफ न करने वाला, अधिक भोजन करने वाला, कटुवादी, सूर्य उदय तक सोने वाला है उसे लक्ष्मी छोड़ देती है चाहे वह भगवान् ही क्यों न हो?

One who keeps dirty clothes, does not clean his teeth, overeats, speaks bitterly, and sleeps till sunrise — wealth abandons him, even were he a god.
