जलते हुए घर में से आदमी जिस वस्तु को निकाल लेता है, वही उसके काम की होती है न कि वह जो वहाँ जल जाती है इसी प्रकार यह संसार जरा-मरण से जल रहा है इसमें से दान देकर निकाल लो, जो दिया जाता है वह सुरक्षित होता है।

Whatever a man rescues from a burning house is what is of use to him, not what burns there; likewise this world is ablaze with old age and death — rescue your wealth from it through charity, for what is given away is what stays safe.
