शराबियों ने खेई नाव-बढ़ी नहीं एक पाँव- शराबियों ने रातभर नाव चलाई, रस्सा खोला नहीं इसलिए वहीं के वहीं रहे, इसी प्रकार मिथ्यात्वरूपी रस्सा नहीं खोला एवं समाधि मरण नहीं किया इसलिए संसार में ही रुल रहे हैं।

Drunkards rowed the boat but it did not move an inch: they rowed all night but never untied the rope, so they stayed exactly where they were. Likewise, people do not untie the rope of wrong-belief nor accomplish a samadhi-death, and so they keep drifting about in this world.
