पाँच प्रकार का मरण- नौ केवल लब्धि वाले केवली का पण्डितपण्डित मरण होता है, छठवें आदि गुणस्थान वाले मुनि का पण्डित मरण होता है, देशव्रती का बाल पण्डित मरण होता है, चौथे गुणस्थान वाले सम्यग्दृष्टि का बाल मरण होता है, मिथ्यादृष्टि जीवों का बालबाल मरण होता है।

Five kinds of death: the Kevali possessing the nine attainments has the pandita-pandita death; a monk of the sixth and higher gunasthanas has the pandita death; a lay-vower (deshvrati) has the bala-pandita death; a right-seer of the fourth gunasthana has the bala death; and wrong-faith beings have the bala-bala death.
