वर्षायोग निष्ठापन कार्तिक कृष्ण अमावस्या के दिन होता है। इसके पूर्व चतुर्दशी को उपवास होता है, कार्तिक कृष्ण अमावस्या को प्रातःकाल वर्षायोग निष्ठापन की भक्तियाँ होती है और वीर निर्वाण महोत्सव की भी भक्तियाँ होती है।

The conclusion of the retreat falls on Kartik Krishna Amavasya; there is fasting on the preceding Chaturdashi, and on the morning of Kartik Krishna Amavasya there are the bhaktis for concluding the retreat and also the bhaktis of the Vira-nirvana festival.
