चार माह की उपयोगिता- अषाढ़ में धर्म की बाढ़, सावन में पावन, भाद्रपद में भद्रता हो जाती है, इससे जो वञ्चित है वह कुवाँर में कोरा, कार्तिक में कायर, होकर पलायन कर जाता है, चार माह कायर होने के नहीं वीर होने के हैं।

The use of the four months: in Ashadh a flood of dharma, in Shravan purity, in Bhadrapad nobility arises; one deprived of these remains empty in Kunwar and a coward in Kartik, and flees away. These four months are not for becoming a coward but for becoming a hero.
