गर्भज मत्स्य पाँच सौ धनुष की अवगाहना वाला होता है, वह सप्तम नरक नहीं जाता है, सम्मूर्च्छन मत्स्य एक हजार योजन की अवगाहना वाला होता है, वह सप्तम नरक जाता है।

A womb-born fish has a body-extent of five hundred bows and does not go to the seventh hell; a spontaneously-generated fish has a body-extent of one thousand yojanas and does go to the seventh hell.
