कृत्यकृत्य वेदक के पहले भाग में मरकर देव, दूसरे भाग में मरकर देव-मनुष्य, तीसरे भाग में मरकर देव-मनुष्य-तिर्यञ्च, चौथे भाग में मरकर चारों गतियों में जा सकते हैं।
Dying in the first part of the kritakritya-vedaka one becomes a deva; in the second part a deva or human; in the third a deva, human or animal; and in the fourth part one may go to any of the four realms.
