अनुभवी से समझे विना शास्त्र पढ़ने से कोई सफल नहीं होता, जैसे ज्योतिषी ने कहा! मन्दिर के कलश में इतनी सम्पत्ति है, वह श्रावण कृष्ण एकम् को मिलेगी, उस नासमझ ने कलश तोड़ डाला, ज्योतिषी को झूठा ठहराया, किसी अनुभवी ने कहा भैया! इस तिथि को कलश की जहाँ छाया पड़े वहाँ खोदो, भाग्य से मिल मिलती है, कार्य की सिद्धि समझदार की होती है।

Without learning from the experienced, mere reading of scripture brings no success. An astrologer said, 'There is treasure in the temple's pinnacle-vase, which will be found on the first dark day of Shravan.' The foolish man broke the vase and declared the astrologer a liar. An experienced man said, 'Brother, on that date dig where the shadow of the pinnacle falls; with fortune you will find it.' Success in a task belongs to the wise.
