छः सौ तेरासी वर्ष के बाद एक अङ्ग के भी पाठी नहीं हुये, फिर अंग के अंश के ज्ञाता हुये, उनमें धरसेन जी, पुष्पदन्त जी, भूतबली जी, गुणधर जी, माघनन्दि जी, यतिवृषभ जी, कार्तिकेय जी, जिनचन्द्र जी, समन्तभद्र जी, पूज्यपाद जी, अकलङ्क जी हुये जिनके द्वारा धर्म तीर्थ आज तक सुरक्षित है।

After six hundred and eighty-three years there were no masters even of a single Anga; then came knowers of portions of the Angas—among them Dharasena, Pushpadanta, Bhutabali, Gunadhara, Maghanandi, Yativrishabha, Kartikeya, Jinachandra, Samantabhadra, Pujyapada and Akalanka—through whom the ford of dharma remains preserved to this day.
