हे आत्मन्! हमेशा ऐसी भावना हो कि मैं आत्म गुणों की दीवाली मनाना चाहता हूँ, और कर्मों की होली जलाना चाहता हूँ, अर्थात् गुणों को ग्रहण करने की और दोषों को छोड़ने की भावना होना चाहिए।

O soul! Let there always be the feeling that I wish to celebrate the Diwali of the soul's virtues and to light the Holi-fire of the karmas—that is, there should be the intent to take up virtues and abandon faults.
