आत्मायत्तं विषयविरसं, तत्त्वचिन्तावलीनं। निर्व्यापारं स्वहितनिरतं, निर्वृतानन्दपूर्णं।। ज्ञानारूढं शमयमतपो ध्यानलब्धावकाशं। कृत्वात्मानं कलय सुमते! दिव्य बोधाधिपत्यं।।

आत्माधीनता, विषयविरक्ति, तत्त्व तल्लीनता, गुप्ति, स्वहित में लीनता, पूर्ण आत्मानन्द, अभीक्ष्णज्ञानोपयोग, समता, आजीवन नियम, तप व ध्यान करना 'केवलज्ञान प्राप्ति के कारण' हैं।

Self-dependence, aversion to sense-objects, absorption in the reals, restraint, engrossment in one's own welfare, complete bliss of the self, constant application of knowledge, equanimity, lifelong vows, austerity and meditation are the 'causes of attaining omniscience.'
