लोहे में खिचने की शक्ति है, तांबा, पीतल आदि में नहीं इसलिए चुम्बक लोहे को खींचती है। इसी तरह योग चुम्बक है और कर्म, नौकर्म वर्गणा में खिचने की शक्ति है और कषाय सहित जीव कर्मों को खींचता है।

Iron has the power to be attracted, copper, brass etc. do not, and so a magnet draws iron. Likewise activity (yoga) is the magnet, and the karma and quasi-karma clusters have the power to be drawn, and the soul with passions draws the karmas.
