'मूर्च्छा परिग्रहः'- यह निर्दोष लक्षण है, यदि बहिरङ्ग पदार्थों को परिग्रह का लक्षण बनावेंगे तो पशु निष्परिग्रही हो जायेंगे और तीर्थंकर आदि भी परिग्रही हो जायेंगे।

'Murchha parigrahah' (attachment is possession)—this is a flawless definition; if outer objects are made the mark of possession, then animals would become possessionless and even the Tirthankars would become possessive.
