व्यन्तरों और ज्योतिषियों में त्रायस्त्रिंश और लोकपाल नहीं होते क्योंकि त्रायस्त्रिंश और लोकपाल में उत्पन्न होने के लिये विशेष पुण्य की आवश्यकता होती है, किन्तु व्यन्तर और ज्योतिषियों में उत्पन्न होने के लिए इतने पुण्य की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है।

Among the Vyantar and Jyotishi gods there are no Trayastrinsha or Lokapala classes, because to be born as Trayastrinsha or Lokapala special merit is needed, whereas so much merit is not required to be born among the Vyantar and Jyotishi gods.
