कुलकर वंश और भवन- प्रथम कुलकर प्रतिश्रुति महाप्रभाव से सम्पन्न एवं अपने पूर्व भव के स्मरण से सहित थे। प्रतिश्रुति कुलकर के स्वर्गस्थ होने पर उन्हीं का पुत्र सन्मति द्वितीय कुलकर हुआ इसी प्रकार सभी कुलकर एक ही वंश के थे। उस समय भरत क्षेत्र में कल्पवृक्ष रूप प्रासाद अन्यत्र नष्ट हो गये थे परन्तु राजा नाभिराय का जो कल्पवृक्ष रूप प्रासाद था वही पृथ्वी निर्मित बन गया था, राजा नाभिराय के उस प्रासाद का नाम सर्वतोभद्र था, उसके खम्भे स्वर्ण मय थे, दीवालें नाना प्रकार के मणियों से निर्मित थीं वह पुखराज तथा मोती आदि की मालाओं से सुशोभित था, इक्यासीखण्ड से युक्त था और कोट, वापिका तथा बाग-बगीचों से अलङ्कृत था। वह अधिष्ठाता नाभिराय के प्रभाव से अकेला ही अनेक कल्पवृक्षों से आवृत था तथा पृथ्वी के मध्य अपने स्थान पर अधिष्ठित था।

The Kulakara lineage and dwelling: the first Kulakara, Pratishruti, was endowed with great majesty and with the recollection of his past births. On Pratishruti Kulakara's passing to heaven, his own son Sanmati became the second Kulakara, and thus all the Kulakaras were of one lineage. At that time the wish-tree-like mansions elsewhere in the Bharata region had perished, but King Nabhiraya's wish-tree-like mansion became one built of earth; that mansion was named Sarvatobhadra, its pillars were of gold, its walls built of various gems, adorned with garlands of topaz and pearls, having eighty-one sections, and embellished with ramparts, step-wells and gardens. By the majesty of its lord Nabhiraya it alone was surrounded by many wish-trees and stood established in its place at the centre of the earth.
