विदेह क्षेत्र में बत्तीस नगरियाँ हैं, एक-एक नगरी में एक तीर्थङ्कर हो सकते हैं, छ: खण्ड होते हैं, हमेशा चौथा काल होता है, सामान्य केवली हमेशा रहते हैं, आचार्य, उपाध्याय, साधु परमेष्ठी भी हमेशा रहते हैं, एक नगरी के तीर्थङ्कर दूसरी नगरी में नहीं जाते हैं।

In the Videha region there are thirty-two cities; in each city there can be one Tirthankar; there are six sections; it is always the fourth age; ordinary Kevalis are always present; the Acharyas, Upadhyayas and Sadhu-parameshthis are also always present; a Tirthankar of one city does not go to another city.
