पञ्चम काल में प्रथम तीन हजार वर्ष में चौसठ जीव विदेह क्षेत्र जाकर नौ वर्ष में दीक्षा ले कर अलग-अलग केवल ज्ञान प्राप्त कर, नौ वर्ष कम एक करोड़ पूर्व काल तक विहार कर मुक्त होंगे, अगले तीन हजार वर्ष में बत्तीस, इसके अगले तीन हजार वर्ष में सोलह, आठ, चार, दो, एक, क्रमश: इक्कीस हजार वर्ष में एक भवावतारी होंगे।

In the fifth age, in the first three thousand years sixty-four souls will go to the Videha region, take initiation within nine years, each attain omniscience, wander for one crore purva minus nine years, and be liberated; in the next three thousand years thirty-two, in the next three thousand sixteen, then eight, four, two, one—thus over twenty-one thousand years there will be single-birth-liberated souls.
