'परिणाम' स्पर्श- हजार बिच्छू काटें उससे अधिक पृथ्वी के स्पर्श का कष्ट है। रस- हलाहल जहर के समान रस का कष्ट है। गन्ध- सप्तम नरक की मिट्टी का चने के बराबर दाना मध्यलोक में आ जाये, तो 'साड़े चौबीस' कोस के पञ्चेन्द्रिय जीव उसकी दुर्गन्ध से मर जायेंगे। रूप- नारकियों का रूप देखने मात्र से हार्टफैल हो जाये। देह- नारकियों का शरीर समस्त रोगों से ग्रसित होता है एवं नरक में कोई औषधि नहीं मिलती है।

The 'resulting' torments: Touch—the agony of the hellish earth's touch is worse than a thousand scorpion stings. Taste—the agony of its taste is like halahala poison. Smell—if a grain of the seventh hell's soil the size of a chickpea came to the middle world, the five-sensed beings within twenty-four and a half kos would die of its stench. Form—the mere sight of the hell-beings' form would cause heart failure. Body—the hell-beings' bodies are afflicted with every disease, and no medicine is found in hell.
