देव और नारकी दोनों का उप्पाद जन्म होता है पर देवों का सुखकर है, नारकियों का दु:खकर है, नरक में कोई दु:ख की कथा सुनने वाला नहीं, जिसको सुनावें वही भाला बनकर दु:ख देता है, यहाँ चींटी आदि को तो सुख है, किन्तु वहाँ क्षण मात्र भी सुख नहीं है, वहाँ का शोरगुल सुनलें, तो मनुष्य का हार्ट फेल हो जाये।

Both gods and hell-beings have spontaneous birth, but the gods' is pleasant and the hell-beings' is painful; in hell there is no one to hear the tale of one's suffering—whoever one tells becomes a spear and inflicts pain. Here even an ant has some happiness, but there there is not a moment's happiness; if a human were to hear the din there, his heart would fail.
