प्रथम पृथ्वी, एक लाख अस्सी हजार योजन मोटी है, उनमें खर भाग सोलह हजार योजन, पङ्कभाग चौरासी हजार योजन, अब्बहुल भाग अस्सी हजार योजन मोटा है। द्वितीय पृथ्वी बत्तीस हजार योजन, तृतीय पृथ्वी अठ्ठाईस हजार योजन, चतुर्थ पृथ्वी चौबीस हजार योजन, पञ्चम पृथ्वी बीस हजार योजन, षष्टम पृथ्वी सोलह हजार योजन, सप्तम पृथ्वी आठ हजार योजन, इनके सब ओर बीस-बीस हजार योजन मोटे वातवलय हैं।

The first earth is one lakh eighty thousand yojanas thick, of which the hard part is sixteen thousand yojanas, the mud part eighty-four thousand yojanas, and the watery part eighty thousand yojanas thick. The second earth is thirty-two thousand yojanas, the third twenty-eight thousand, the fourth twenty-four thousand, the fifth twenty thousand, the sixth sixteen thousand, the seventh eight thousand; around all of them are air-rings twenty thousand yojanas thick.
