मोटर अजीब तत्त्व है, सवारी जीव तत्त्व है, एक-एक का चढ़ना आस्रव है, सीट पर बैठना बन्ध है, सवारी का आना बन्द हो जाना संवर है, एक-एक करके उतर जाना निर्जरा है, सम्पूर्ण सवारी का उतर जाना मोक्ष है, इसी प्रकार सभा, नाव, रोटी आदि में घटाना एवं दार्ष्टान्त के रूप में आत्मा में घटाना चाहिए।

The motor is the non-living principle, the passenger is the living principle; each one boarding is influx, sitting on the seat is bondage, the boarding stopping is stoppage, alighting one by one is dissociation, the whole load alighting is liberation; likewise this should be applied to an assembly, a boat, bread and so on, and as an illustration applied to the soul.
